We offer you a warm welcome
AT Bathgate Christian Spiritualist church you will see top Psychics;
Mediums and clairvoyants demonstrating their ability to communicate with
those loved ones who have left this earth-plane a little time before us but would like to assure us of their continued life in a different environment
and their continuing love for us and interest in our welfare.

Spiritualism is a RECOGNISED RELIGION
We have two properly ordained Ministers Rev Brian Pitt & Rev Mhairi
Derby-Pitt, who have exactly the same status as all other Ministers of
Religion, and is called upon to conduct Weddings, funerals and
christenings and when required, to visit hospitals, prisons, or wherever a
Spiritualist is in need of spiritual comfort or guidance.

Spiritualists believes that our loved ones are very much the same after
leaving this earth as they were before, but without the physical
deformities, illnesses, or weariness that they had when on earth.
They have gone to a brighter world.
Being an organised religion, we have properly run Church Services with
instruction classes on spiritual healing, meditation groups and clairvoyance
classes.
Church Services are much like any other, with a warm welcome and
hopefully a friendly greeting.

The Service in our Church begins by welcoming those gathered and
introducing our guest Medium for the evening; a hymn followed by the
opening prayer; another hymn before an address on spiritual themes; another hymn before the Medium's demonstration; intimations, a hymn
before the reading of our healing list; a moments silence for private and
personal thoughts; then the closing prayer.

The Medium will, from the host of spirit friends present, heard or sensed
by him/her, give 'messages' to recipients in the congregation.
The first 'duty' of a Medium is to present EVIDENCE for the continuity
of life and he/she may give names, perhaps the surname as well as the
first name; a description of the spirit friend, his/her general appearance,
personality or characteristic ; perhaps a trade, calling or interests;
mention may be made of a last illness, a birthday, and so on - whatever
in fact, is needed to establish that the person now in spirit is recognised
by the one to whom the Medium is speaking.

The size of the Church has little to do with it, except to say, perhaps,
that the more persons present giving their loving thoughts and encouragement to the Medium the easier it will be for the Medium to link
with your loved ones to give you the help and guidance you need from the
spirit realms.
